The animation workshop offers pre-school children the opportunity to actively engage with the medium of film. They learn playfully how a film is made and work on their own little cartoon. The children get to know the subject of film in the project and look for a topic together on which they can develop a story - the basis for their own first cartoon, which is gradually being made. The central goal is that the participating children (almost) exclusively become active themselves. Together they record sounds and music, speak texts, create figures, operate the camera and take care of what happens in front of the camera. The supervising media educators are at the children's side with advice and action.
